Just saw that Knob Hall Winery’s 2010 Prestige was awarded best in show at the 2012 Winemaster’s Choice awards. This is quite a kudo since the awards are judged solely by other winemakers and some media (not me!)
Got some blueberries from Frog Eye Farm as a father’s day present. The new owners are lovely, friendly people. This is wonderful since when I heard of the farms impending sale I planted some blueberry bushes just in case. Unfortunately despite being caged the deer managed to eat them all down to twigs. I’m so irritated I’m going to break out the compound bow and begin practicing now.
