The Euro Effect

Was in the Spirit Shop today and noticed thatone of my favorites: Zardetto Prosecco was up to $13.99 a bottle.  Wow.  Its still at ten bucks in my head.

  1. Wow. Are other wines going up in price too? (I don’t buy wines often enough to know.)

Yes. This hits me because I’m such a big fan of Italian wines. I’ve noticed that most European wines that were in the $8-17 a bottle range are now $3-5 dollars higher. You can find wines from other areas such as Australia and South America where prices have remained stable. Argentina and Chile still have excellent values.
